the question of maps

Its troubling to me how much work there is about maps these days. I subscribe to 3 map blogs, and just bought a wonderful book called "The Map As Art" and I worry that I'll get a little caught up in how many ways there are to make map art, and not make any myself. At least I have animation to make maps inside. I just set up a little animation studio in my room. It has a big thick black cloth to keep it dark, and two lights, and my new favourite tripod, called a magic arm, that bends any way you like and clamps at one end. Now I can build maps and rivers and experiment in the darkness to my hearts content.
